It’s been five years since Priyanka Chopra’s character let Don slip through the cracks in Farhan Akhtar’s revival of the 1970s cult classic. Now the leading lady is back with a vengeance in “Don 2?, a film she describes as “leaner, meaner and sexier”.
There’s been no looking back for the actress since the release of the previous Don. She’s emerged as one of India’s leading actresses, picking up a National Award in 2008 for her performance in “Fashion” and garnering tremendous critical praise for her work in “Kaminey” and “7 Khoon Maaf”. She recently made a friend of pop icon Lady Gaga and is a mainstay in polls for India’s Sexiest and Most Beautiful.
