Bollywood’s alleged new couple Shahid-Priyanka may continue to deny their relationship but watching this young couple’s chemistry at the Rajiv Gandhi’s award ceremony got the tongue wagging.

According to sources, at the ceremony when Priyanka saw Shahid sitting there she could not contain her enthusiasm and walked upto him in the middle of the performance. She took him by the hand to the stage where the two of them performed to some of the latest tracks of Bollywood.

PRIYANKA HAPPY AFTER SCORING HAT TRICK

Though only 27-year-old our former beauty queen-turned-actress Priyanka Chopra has had the privilege of a hat-trick. She has delivered three hits in a row – first she wowed the audience with her power-packed performance as an ambitious model in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’, then as a chic girl in Tarun Mansukhani’s ‘Dostana’ and now in a dark thriller by Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Kaminey’.

She is now looking forward to her next ‘What’s Your Rashee?’ with a lot of hope, where she would be playing 12 different roles. We wonder if anyone has attempted 12 roles in a movie ever. Besides, Piggy Chips as she is called is shooting for Yash Raj Films’ banner for ‘Pyaar Impossible’, in which she stars opposite Chopra icon Uday!

Siddharth’s Ranbir-Priyanka starrer titled ‘Anjaana Anjaani’

After successfully directing three films namely ‘Salaam Namaste’, ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’ and ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ for Yash Raj Films, director Siddharth Anand is all set to start his next venture this time for producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The film is titled ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, and will star Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles.

Siddharth Anand has confirmed the news. “Yes my next film is called Anjaana Anjaani. It’s a romantic comedy starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. We start shooting in October and the film would be shot in New York, San Francisco and Las Vegas.”

At the Rajiv Gandhi National Awards, Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapur, who were supposed to have broken up, were spotted chatting incessantly.

Priyanka, Rani, George & Hugh at TIFF

Fresh from his battles with the Italian paparazzi during his holiday on Lake Como with Italian TV presenter Elisabeta Canalis, George Clooney will be heading towards Toronto next month for what is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing International Film Festivals in the city for many years – with a constellation of over 500 stars and 300 films from 64 different countries. Toronto is clearly the place to be next month.

Among the films being premiered are Priyanka Chopra’s What’s Your Rashee? and Rani Mukherjee’s Dil Bole Hadippa, which also stars Shahid Kapoor and features Rakhi Sawant and Sherlyn Chopra. Rani certainly looks stunning in the promos for her movie, which should see her catapaulted back into the top five Bollywood actresses, with what appears to be an hilarious plot and crisp editing.

Both actresses will be attending the Festival along with directors Ashutosh Gowariker and Anurag Singh. Canadian and Bollywood actress Lisa Ray will also be there, as well as Abhay Deol and Harman Baweja, Priyanka’s co-star in What’s Your Rashee?. Priyanka: Do not disturb!

Priyanka Chopra takes time off to recharge her batteries; will spend over two weeks away from Mumbai with family and Priyanka Chopra Over six years, Priyanka Chopra has worked relentlessly for the top slot.

Rani, Priyanka to rub shoulders with Playboy founder as TIFF guests

Toronto: The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) that is scheduled for September will have Bollywood directors Ashutosh Gowariker and Anurag Singh and stars Rani Mukherjee, Priyanka Chopra, Lisa Ray and Harman Baweja.

They will rub shoulders with George Clooney, Demi Moore, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and talk show queen Oprah Winfrey at this year’s TIFF.

From September 10 to 19, the 34th annual mega-film show will run.
