Strange are the ways of our filmdom, where celebs go around flaunting their love but when it comes to owning up to their relationship, they back out. All of us have seen Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra exchanging sweet-nothings, smiling endearingly at each other and appearing at the same parties together. But while Priyanka shyly evades the question of her relationship status, Harman utters a defiant ‘no’.

There were stories of break-up in their love story after their film ‘Love Story 2050’ bombed at the theatres but when a news daily asked Harman about it, he said, “What can I say? I never said we were a couple before. So why should I react when people are splitting us.”

Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra and cricketer Sreesanth walked the ramp for fashion designer Vikram Phadnis at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) here last evening. The designer had used to portray the essence of the word ‘’Showtime'’.

“Essentially Showtime means lot of glamour and flamboyance. There is a lot of attitude in the garments, I did not use any of the boring colours everything that I showcased were replete with colours whether it was styling, the make-up, the shoes, the bags or the stockings,” said Phadnis. Finding ‘Drona’ slow-moving and Abhishek Bachchan needlessly sullen throughout, a Malaysian film critic, has panned the Bollywood film, which released in this South-East Asian country recently, but says the children will love it.

The lady who’s been making a statement with her next offering “Fashion” is Priyanka Chopra, and she expresses her displeasure on the ‘A’ certificate given to the film.

Speaking on the ‘A’ certificate for “Fashion”, Priyanka said, “I am upset about it. I don’t think the film has anything snesational for the censor board to give an ‘A’ certificate. But the censor board’s decision is always respected.”

Speaking further, Priyanka said, “There is nothing sexual int eh film. My be the drug sequences made the censor board to issue the ‘A’ certificate. There is nothing sensational, sexual or bold in the film. If the people think this way, it is complete misconception.”

Clearing the air on her going anorexic, Priyanka replied, “I had green curry and steam rice for lunch. I am extremely Punjabi in my mind. I don’t encourage unhealthy means of losing weight. Despite the fact the her movie Fashion didn’t premiere at the Middle East International Film Festival after all – due to post-production problems - Priyanka Chopra fulfilled her obligation to attend anyway, and she’s glad she did.

She met a host of stars at the Festival in Dubai including Meg Ryan, Antonio Banderas and his wife Melanie Griffiths. She sat with the latter pair at a movie premiere and was said to have been charmed by Antonio – I imagine he was pretty charmed by her as well. “I did spend come time chatting with Antonio and his wife Melanie,” she says, “We sat together at the opening.
