Priyadarshan (Director Billoo Barber) has roped in Priyanka Chopra to do an item number with Shah Rukh Khan . Other hot females in the same item number are Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone . The movie is inspired by the legendary story of Lord Krishna and Sudama and stars Shah Rukh Khan as a superstar and Irfan Khan as Billoo the Barber, his friend.

“Since Shah Rukh plays a film star in the movie, I needed him to do some big glamorous song and dance numbers with some top heroines. I left the choice to Shah Rukh. Grapevine has it that it is Abhishek Bachchan who suggested that Priyanka Chopra don the role of his bodyguard in the movie Drona.

When asked, Abhishek said,” “During the scripting stage, when Goldie said that Priyanka Chopra will play my love interest, I suggested that apart from that she should also be my bodyguard. In the film, her father’s character is my father’s bodyguard. By now its common knowledge that the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra plays Abhishek Bachchan’s bodyguard in the fantasy adventure Drona. Priyanka would be seen doing some deadly action sequences in this flick which opens across cinema halls on Oct 2.

Priyanka plays Abhishek’s bodyguard in Drona and tries to save him from evil in the film.

There was a time when Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar ‘jodi’ spelt success in each of their outings.
