Mumbai, May 29: All eyes were on the real life lovers, Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja at the music launch of India’s most expensive Sci-Fi movie ‘Love Story 2050’. Priyanka and Harman were joined by Bollywood big shots like Boman Irani and Archana Puran Singh, who also happen to be starring in the flick.

Indian actress Priyanaka Chopra may be going from Bollywood to Metropolis if the latest rumblings are to be believed. According a report in Zee News, Chopra has been offered the role of Superman’s love interest in Superman: The Man of Steel.

Officially, Chopra and the studios aren’t saying anything, but according to sources the actress has been offered the role and has almost accepted. The role will be that of a lady scientist who will be romantically involved with the Man of Steel.

And what about Lois Lane? Well, remember that in Superman Returns, it was established that Lois was engaged to another man, who she assumed was the father of her son.

Few details are currently available for Superman: The Man of Steel, but it is known that Brandon Routh will return to his role as the Man of Steel and Bryan Singer will be back to direct. Kevin Spacey has also expressed an interest in returning as Lex Luthor.

Priyanka Chopra never thought that she would get so attached to Love Story 2050’s robot teddy Boo that she would miss him dearly after the completion of the film.

Priyanka’s companion in the film is the two-feet-tall Boo, which interacts with her and also cuts vegetables and does some shopping for Priyanka.

The much-talked about futuristic red-haired look of Priyanka Chopra in Love Story 2050 hasn’t been a cake walk for the actress. Not only did she have to go into hiding for over 20 days so that her look in the film is not revealed but also had to chop off her long tresses as the harsh dye chemicals completely ruined her hair.

Although Priyanka was always nervous about her new look in Love Story 2050 she was keen that her look suits her character in the film. She plays a pop star named Zayesha. Although she did consider using a red wig she was not sure it would look natural. The challenge was that when you think of someone with red hair you think of a punk rocker and Priyanka’s character Zayesha had to look soft at the same time. So finally director Harry Baweja and make-up artiste Mickey Contractor came up with the idea of colouring her hair red and giving her a fringe. Everyone was taken aback when they first saw Priyanka’s new look. ”Priyanka was zapped. In fact, we all were too. It took us time to digest it. Also, we all began to wonder whether it was the right thing to do. But then we all were glad that we followed our instinct,” says director Harry Baweja.
