It has been more than a year since Priyanka Chopra had a major release to her name. SALAAM E ISHQ had released way back in January 2007 while Guddy Dhanoa’s BIG BROTHER (starring Sunny Deol) which came a few months later was a delayed project where one hardly saw Priyanka.

Ever since then Priyanka has been lying low with only a special appearance in the item number ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ for Farah Khan’s OM SHANTI OM. In the meanwhile she went on to sign some exciting projects but it would be only in the month of June when one would see her returning to the big screen in a big way.

Incidentally both these films are delayed projects as well though not of the quantum of BIG BROTHER. LOVE STORY 2050 and GOD TUSSI GREAT HO are the two films in question, which are now aiming for a June release. The buzz in the movie industry for the rapidly-revived career of Rohit Jugraj whose Kunal Khemu starrer Superstar opened this week to favourable reviews, is that his next project is a desi action-drama version of the super chick flick the Hollywood blockbuster Charlie’s Angels.

According to the talk doing the rounds in the film trade, the medico-metamorphosed-into-moviemaker Rohit Jugraj who started his career by assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali and then directed the fiasco actioner James for Ram Gopal Varma, has been approached by Abbas-Mustan to produce his take on Charlie’s Angels.

That’s why I do one film at a time,” she said. “For Fashion, I didn’t drop kilos, but I toned my body through diet. I can’t cut down on food.”

Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra has told Karan Johar that she will not wear a bikini for his next movie. Karan wanted the former Miss World to tone her body to perfection and wear a sizzling bikini in the movie Dostana. The scene was to be shot at the sex frilled Miami beach. The actress however declined the offer and said that she was not willing to take her clothes off for anyone.

Karan has signed in Priyanka to star alongside Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in the movie. The film is expected to be a remake of a 70s classic. Priyanka is currently struggling with her figure and has put on a lot of weight. Recently there were rumours that Madhur Bhandarkar might drop her from the movie Fashion if she doesn’t tone up her body in time.

Everyone is waiting for Piggy Chops to announce that she in love with Harman Baweja. Meanwhile, they are seen here, there and everywhere as a couple.

Karan Johar promises that his upcoming production has three Bollywood stars in a unique love triangle.

It is common knowledge by now that John Abraham , Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra are set to team up in Karan’s next production that will be directed by his trusted assistant Tarun Mansukhani.

Now, Karan has revealed some inside info about the film.

The movie will have Abhishek and John playing two thick friends. So, in keeping with the film’s theme, Karan has titled it Dostana , which was the title of the yesteryear film starring Amitabh Bachchan , Shatrughan Sinha and Parveen Babi that Karan’s dad Yash Johar produced in 1980. Priyanka Chopra has denied that she has any differences with Kangana Ranaut who co-stars with her in Madhur Bhandarkar ’s forthcoming Fashion. “Please stop thinking of us as rivals at each other’s throats.

I worked with Kareena Kapoor and Lara Dutta in my two earliest films. We worked without any kind of tension. Now I hear I’m at loggerheads with Kangana while shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Fashion’. That I’m feeling threatened by her presence, when in fact we get along famously,” Priyanka told a news agency.

“Kangana and I share a lot in common. Like me she’s an outsider who has been wholeheartedly embraced and adopted by Mumbai. Besides we’ve our individual space in ‘Fashion’. So this reported friction is again fiction,” Priyanka added. Apart from ‘Fashion’, Priyanka will also be seen in Drona and Love Story 2050 this year. Priyanka added that Bollywood needs to set a secular example for the rest of the country.

FORMER Miss World Priyanka Chopra is taking a break from masala movies to do a much more serious film abiut female bonding.

Priyanka has been signed up to work with Madhur Bhandarkar - a man known for his different kind of cinema -in his forthcoming film called Fashion.
