No, no, Harman Baweja need not worry! We’re talking about Arjan Bajwa, the young man who’s playing the romantic lead opposite Priyanka Chopra in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion. Arjan is playing a model in the film.

And from the looks of it, the letter ‘M’ seems to have a lot of significance in Arjan’s life. He started his career with a cameo in ‘M’ani Ratnam’s Guru (remember the slick fellow Farzan Contractor Abhishek’s character takes panga with?), is doing ‘M’adhur Bhandarkar’s film.

He was apparently the first choice for ‘M’ahesh Bhatt’s Gangster, but some how the project fell through. What’s more, his character’s name in Fashion is ‘M’aanav!

We hear that before flying off for Tarun Mansukhani’s film Dostana in Miami, she shot non-stop for Madhur’s Fashion and completed a major portion of it.

“We started the shot at 5 am and it went on till the next morning, non-stop, everyone was exhausted but Priyanka was extremely professional, she didn’t complain or throw tantrums even once,” says a unit member.

Madhur too confirms the news and says, “Yes, Priyanka was very professional. When she saw that I was not well and inspite of that I was on the sets, 24*7, she just gave in,” he laughs. Let’s hope the Guinness world record guys are reading this!

Priyanka Chopra rebuffs rumours that she has lost weight to play a model in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion.

“It’s the silliest story I’ve heard about myself in a long time. On par with the one about me being in Sydney with Harman Baweja for the New Year when I was actually shooting an ad in Bangkok,” Priyanka told IANS.

“No, nobody has told me to do anything for the role in Fashion. Madhur Bhandarkar and I share great rapport. He didn’t ask me to lose weight for the character,” she added. Priyanka Chopra and Govinda may be stars now, but producer K C Bokadia is finding it really difficult to find a buyer for his film, Aap Mere Hai Sanam, starring both of them. The movie is stuck in the cans since the last five years.

Bokadia had made the film when Priyanka was a newcomer. Initially, the film was titled Ek Haseena Ek Deewana, which he later changed into Aap Mere Hai Sanam.

Adnan Sami who has played a romantic hero opposite almost all the big actresses of Bollywood in all his music albums, is all set to act in films. Adnan has been signed by Aishwarya’s secretary Hari Singh for his next.

Hari Singh confirms the news, “Yes we have signed Adnan for a very interesting role. He will play the male lead in the film. It’s an untitled film in which Adnan has a brilliant role. When he heard the script he liked it so much that he immediately gave his consent.”
