Priyanka Chopra had quite an unpleasant experience yesterday, while shooting for one of her upcoming films at Thakur College in Kandivili.

The actress, who had kept her Tag Heuer watch and other personal belongings in her vanity van, had told her spot boy Arvind to take care of it while she was shooting.

However, when she returned to her van, she couldn’t find her expensive watch. She suspected her spot boy who was later questioned by the police. After giving the cold shoulder to Priyanka Chopra for the longest time, Salman Khan extended the proverbial olive branch to his pretty colleague at a social do recently. The duo walked in separately at Peter Mukerjea’s (of INX Media) party recently.

They conveniently looked through each other till later in the evening when many of the guests just started leaving. Salman urged Priyanka to sit down with him, and the soon they were seen engrossed in serious conversation.

Priyanka even broke into tears during the conversation, say eyewitnesses. Salman was surprisingly calm and addressed all the issues that Priyanka brought up. Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion is all set to go on the floors in early December. Given that the film is about the fashion industry, it will focus on exposing the glamour industry’s underbelly.

The film stars Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Mugda Godse. It has been learnt that Priyanka Chopra will have as many as 134 costume designed by Narendra Kumar.

A source from the unit says, “Priyanka plays a small town girl who goes on to become a supermodel. Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra says she was amazed by the techniques involved in ‘Gatka’, a martial art from Punjab.

Priyanka has learnt Gatka for her role in her forthcoming film Drona . “I was quite amazed at the techniques involved in gatka,” she told reporters in Chandigarh.

When Priyanka Chopra took a long time with her make up on the set of ‘God Tussi Great Ho’, Salman Khan did not grin and lump it, as human male species has learnt to do since recorded history. Instead, he chose to show his displeasure to Priyanka.

Lux brand ambassador Priyanka Chopra announced the launch of a new variant of the ’soap for the stars’ - Lux Crystal Shine at Hyatt Regency Friday, November 16.

Earlier this year Priyanka Chopra was designated the new face for Lux, displacing Kareena Kapoor. Priyanka is believed to have been paid a hefty sum for the endorsement, TV and print campaigns which have been shot by the top-of-the-line names in the business.

After the success of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer DON, young and talented film maker Farhan Akhtar is challenged by the thought of directing DON 2.

Says Farhan, “Most of the characters and cast from the first part will recur, including Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal and Om Puri.

For me the challenge is to create an ongoing series for a hero who is the anti-hero.”
