Priyanka Chopra turns superwoman

Boom Crash Bang! Make way people here comes the superwoman. Virgin Comics has created a new superhero character after Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra. The publication will bring out comic books, animation and games with the new toon character.

Priyanka said it was a ‘dream come true’ for her as the actress loves cartoons and animations.
The superhero will be an adopted girl who discovers that she is the latest in the line of princesses with great mystical powers and a sworn duty to take down evil wherever it lurks.

The so-far untitled story is expected to have a 2008 launch, which will be further taken into animation games and even a theatrical live-action film!

Actress Priyanka Chopra is making her mark in a man’s world. The lady was recently signed on to promote a men’s wear brand – J. Hampstead that was earlier promoted by sportsmen like Leander Paes, MS Dhoni… This time however, J. Hampstead chose to be different, and rope in a Bollywood actress to do the needful.

“What would I be doing for a men’s wear brand? That’s the first question that came to my mind, too,” says Priyanka Chopra.

Virgin Comics has teamed up with Priyanka Chopra to create a new superhero character based on the Bollywood actress.

The new content relationship makes Chopra the first Miss World winner to create a superhero property for comic books, animation and games.

The actress has teamed up with Virgin Comics to create a new superhero character for comic books, animation and games.

Controversies aren’t exactly new to Priyanka Chopra. And though she has always maintained a dignified silence over her personal life, the latest is that the actress is livid at reports linking her to cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

“Priyanka is infuriated,” shares a friend of Priyanka’s in Mumbai. “At first, she was completely flabbergasted when she heard the story, more so because she doesn’t even know the guy, forget about them being good friends or dating one another!
