Priyanka Chopra has replaced Aishwarya Bachchan in Karan Johar’s forthcoming film to be directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The film has a sexy vibe, which is bound to titillate the audience.

According to unit member of the film, “Aishwarya’s character has both the leading men Abhishek and John lusting after her. She felt that as a married woman this role wasn’t right for her.”

Karan too hinted about the hot look of the film, “Priyanka Chopra was happy to be part of the film and we are happy to have her, so it worked well. When you see the film, you’ll understand why Ash could not do it.”

Priyanka Chopra is just back from New York but her euphoria over the attention she received from non resident Indian fans at the India Day Parade there hasn’t died down.

“It was wonderful to connect with the Indians there. I had been to school in New York for three years as a teenager. And I know how close Indians abroad feel to their home,” Priyanka, who returned Wednesday, told reporters.

Thousands of people flocked to the annual India Day Parade held in New York that saw Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra as grand marshal and astronaut Sunita Williams as the guest of honour.

The event held on Sunday, saw people fill up the sidewalks on the parade route along Madison Avenue from 41st Street to 24th Street in Manhattan.

Priyanka Chopra says she can’t imagine living without her parents but at the same time she wants her own private space. That is why the actress has bought two connecting flats so that she can enjoy the best of both.

She is taking great interest in the construction and design of her new home. In fact, one reason why she hasn’t signed any films is because she earlier could never find the time to get her new place ready.

“And it’s now or never. It will be ready during Diwali. It will be two connecting flats, just like it was earlier on. My family would be staying in one flat while I’d be staying in the other.
