Former Miss World and now Bollywood’s glamour icon Priyanka Chopra had the most memorable dinner of her life with the members of Malaysia’s royal family.

Priyanka, who was invited to flag off Sunday’s Grand Prix in Sepang, dined with King Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail and Queen Fauziah Abdul Rashid on Friday night.

“They were graciousness-personified. I had myself the most amazing evening. The entertainment was subdued and sophisticated. There were some incredible Malaysian singers. Bollywood’s glamour icon Priyanka Chopra, who judged the Femina Miss India 2007 Sunday, says her career would have been nipped in the bud had she not won the beauty pageant in 2000.

‘Miss India will always remain special. That’s where it all started for me. And maybe that’s where it would’ve ended if I hadn’t won the crown. So I know how important it is to win the Miss India contest,’ Priyanka told IANS. Priyanka was exceedingly excited about judging this beauty pageant.

It is indeed an honour that one of bollywood’s leading ladies Priyanka Chopra has been invited to inaugurate the Grand Prix in Malaysia. Priyanka will share the honour along with Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Steven Spielberg.

Priyanka has been personally invited by Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Bin Ahmad Badawi. Priyanka will be seen hobnobbing with various stars and Formula 1 racers. The Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix Fantasy Gala 2007 will be held on April 8 at Sepang in Malaysia.

Priyanka has been a frequent visitor to Malaysia as she has shot for several of her films there and the people of Malaysia too are extremely taken up by her. Priyanka will also attend a grand formal sit down dinner along with some high profile people prior to the event. A court here on Monday issued summons to Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra in a defamation case filed by her former secretary Prakash Jajoo.

First Class Judicial Magistrate Rajkumar Verma directed the actress to appear before the court on May 19.
