Katrina and Priyanka fight it out for India Youth Icon Award

Bollywood heartthrob Katrina Kaif and beauty queen Priyanka Chopra will be involved in a unique battle, as they compete with each other to win the coveted Videocon India Youth Icon Award in Entertainment category. Pankaj Kapoor to direct Shahid-Priyanka?

There were reports of Shahid Kapoor’s mother Neelima Aazim planning to direct a film. But since her sonny boy refused to work with her, the plans have more or less been shattered. Refusing to give a reason for his refusal, Shahid even said that it was a ‘personal’ decision between his mom and himself.

Now, we have heard that Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapoor is all set to direct his first film. And if that was not all, the veteran actor is all set to cast his son Shahid and Priyanka Chopra in the lead.

All the contestants of Star Plus’s ‘Perfect Bride’ were in for a very pleasant surprise. They got to meet Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja.

Both the actors entered the house to promote their upcoming flick ‘What’s your Rashee?’. A close source informs, “Both the actors are coming on the show and they had a gala time there. They will also give tips to the brides and grooms participating on the show”.

Priyanka Chopra admits ‘What’s Your Rashee’ her toughest film

Hot and sexy Priyanka Chopra admitted that ‘What’s Your Rashee’ is the toughest film she has worked on so far. But she is glad of the fact that she had leser costume changes in this film as compared to ‘Fashion’ where she had to change into so many.

‘Pranks’ as she is these days called remembers the exhausting costume changes during the shoot of ‘Fashion’ where she must have changed into 130 costumes approximately.

She is playing 12 roles in WYR but the ordeal of changing into multiple costumes wasn’t there since these characters had entire screen time. Priyanka explains, “I am seen in one or at maximum two costumes per character as Harman (Baweja) meets 12 different prospective brides.

Of course this came with its own challenges since we had to make sure that that every single costume which I wear goes perfectly well with the character and makes an impact in that limited screen time. Overall I must have worn around 20 odd costumes in What’s Your Rashee?”

Priyanka excited about entering Guinness Book

Eighty years ago legendary British actor Lupino Lane created a (yet unbroken) record for a male actor playing 24 roles in “Only Me” (1929).

And now Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra is all excited about the possibility of her entering the record books for doing 12 roles in forthcoming “What’s Your Raashee”.

“I was aware about Sanjeev Kumar playing nine roles in ‘Naya Din Nayi Raat’ and Kamal Haasan being seen 10 times over in ‘Dashavatharam’. However, even I got to know about Lupino Lane’s achievement very recently. Hats off to him to have done that eight decades back and that too in a silent film,” Priyanka told IANS. After the success of Vishal Bhardwaj’s Dhan Te Nan in Kaminey, Priyanka Chopra is keen to have a female voice to the song.

The actress has told the director and reports are that they would soon record the song with a female singer.

A source says: “Priyanka was in love with the song the moment she heard it. She always used to dance and sing on the sets to the song. Priyanka complained to Vishal of being biased to Shahid Kapur and giving him such a peppy song.
