Ranbir, Priyanka play ‘Anjaana Anjaani’
What’s got Priyanka Chopra excited nowadays? No, it’s not the super-run of Kaminey at theatres. Rather, it’s the script of director Siddharth Anand’s next film, Anjaana Anjaani, which is a love story.
“Just got out of a script discussion for the next film I’m starting.. It’s called anjaana anjaani!! Super story.. Excited!!” Priyanka exuberated on her Twitter page.
Throwing more light on the project, Priyanka tweeted: “Anjaana anjaani is directed by Siddharth Anand produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and stars me and Ranbir Kapoor… I start shoot October.”
It is the first time Priyanka is pairing with Ranbir.
Siddharth has previously directed films like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Tara Rum Pum and Salaam Namaste for Yashraj Films. However, for ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ he has broken away from the banner.
The film’s shoot will reportedly begin with a 45-day schedule in San Francisco followed by shooting in Los Angeles. Some scenes will also be shot in New York.
The songs will be composed by Vishal-Shekhar duo. In fact, they have already recorded four songs. Lucky Ali has been roped in to sing all the tracks for Ranbir.
The shooting of ‘Anjaana Anjaani’ is likely to be completed by January 2010.
