Rani & Priyanka to grace Toronto Film Festival this year

The 34th annual Toronto Film Festival (TIFF) to be held this month from 10th to 19th will see the world premiere of Anurag Singh’s “Dil Bole Hadippa” and Ashutosh Gowariker’s “What’s Your Rashee?”

So, the directors Anurag and Ashutosh along with the stars of the movies Priyanka Chopra, Lisa Ray, Rani Mukherjee and Harman Baweja will rub shoulders with George Clooney, Demi Moore, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and talk show queen Oprah Winfrey at this mega-film show.

Other big Hollywood names include Nicolas Cage, Sir Ridley Scott, Drew Barrymore, Kevin Spacey, Michael Douglas, Penelope Cruz and Keanu Reeves.

From our tinsel town, other stars to make their appearance include actor Abhay Deol, filmmaker Buddhadeb Dasgupta, Deepa Mehta’s brother Dilip Mehta, and documentary maker Vikram Jayanti.

We wait eagerly for the event when Hollywood will meet Bollywood.
