Bollywood babe Priyanka Chopra has been voted the Most Amazing Actress in a new poll. The former Miss World topped a survey of actresses, which was voted for by children, conducted by the Pogo television channel. “The award is very special to me because children have voted for me and i love them,” the star told The Times of india.

She explained that her popularity soared, particularly among young children, after she played the female lead in ‘Krrish’, india’s first superhero film, this year. The blockbuster movie was a huge hit with both cinemagoers and critics. “You could say i am india’s answer to Lois Lane,” the 24-year-old beauty was quoted as saying.

Priyanka’s ‘Krrish’ co-star, Hrithik Roshan, was named Most Amazing Actor. The actress is no stranger to winning accolades, having notched up three coveted Filmfare Awards, two Stardust Awards and a Star Screen Award since becoming a Bollywood favourite in Andaaz in 2003. She has also been nominated for two Zee Cine Awards.
