But Priyanka Chopra did it with aplomb in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion!

The former Miss World has five super hot looks in the film. Excitedly, she told BT, “I’m a girl from Chandigarh who comes to Mumbai and becomes a model. Then, I become a super model; and, later on, I play a character who faces a lot of problems. Finally comes my last look. They are all distinct but merge into each other. At no point will the audience say — ‘Oh God! What has happened to her?’”

Rita Dhody, who styled Priyanka, considered fashion trends at least three seasons ahead when working. “Instead of designing five looks for one character who goes through different phases in life, I designed Priyanka into five different characters. She stands out beautifully in each,” revealed Rita.

Disagreements between the actress and stylist were natural. Priyanka admitted, “Rita would say — ‘I want you to wear this.’ And I would sometimes refuse. Eventually, she’d convince me saying, ‘Your character demands you to be like this.’”

Madhur, meanwhile, is hoping that former beauty queen
