If rumours to be believed then Priyanka Chopra’s career is in the doldrums. The actress was supposed to be the guest judge at the grand finale of the dance reality show Aaja Mahi Vay. And despite shooting for the promos at the eleventh hour she was replaced by Karisma Kapoor.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the producers Contiloe Productions maintained it was strictly due to the industry strike and not for any other reason. “Yes, Priyanka had shot the promos. We had also decided upon a Drona contest, wherein the jodis were to show their love for each other. Because of the FWICE strike, the show had to be postponed.”

Now that the show will be aired on October 12th Karisma Kapoor will be the judge. Apparently the channel was keen to retain Priyanka but the production house felt since she’s had three flops in a row Karisma would be a better bet.

As per the same paper Anupama Mandloi, the creative head of Star Plus said,”Since Karisma Kapoor is already judging Nach Baliye 4, we decided to have her on Ajaa Mahi Vay’s grand finale too. She is apt to be the guest judge.”

But insiders insist Priyanka is not offended. She’s also keen to dissociate herself from Drona at the earliest possible.
