PRIYANKA CHOPRA is the hottest buzz in town. She’s got the best of heroes and the creamiest films on hand. For starters she and her debutant boyfriend are the talk of the town. The final countdown has begun for one of the biggest films of the year Love Story 2050.

Harman Baweja had once said, “My father has put his all into the making of this film. He has put his blood, sweat and tears into every frame and aspect of the film. I am confident it will do well.” Says Priyanka, “It’s a milestone for Indian films because we haven’t seen these kind of visuals, special effects in any other film till now.” And, Priyanka pulls off her new look with the red hair pretty well too. “Yes, I think red hair will be fashionable— and the best part is, the colour is very suitable to our Indian skin tone,” says Priyanka.

The actress has her hands full with a string of films lined up. She is definitely one who sticks to her word when it comes to signing as many films as possible while the going is good. Naturally, the role should be appealing. “I only do films which I would go to watch. By god’s grace I am in a position where I can pick and chose my roles.” This is the advice she gave co star, Kangna too. “Sign as many films as you can if the roles are good.” she told the younger actress. This year, Priyanka has got it all. Science-fiction, action, romance, drama and comedy. After Love Story 2050 she has Fashion—another much-discussed film.

When you have a director like Madhur Bhandarkar, controversy is sure to be there. However Priyanka reveals, “It took a long time for me to agree to do Fashion. It’s about three people and all of us have good roles. The film explores the dark side of the fashion industry and shows what really happens behind the scenes.” Priyanka plays the lead in the film along with Kangna Ranaut. “It’s the overall project that appeals to me,” says Priyanka.

New action queen

Priyanka aka Piggy chops is having quite a successful career even though she may not have a single YashRaj film in her kitty. Says Priyanka, “Of course, everyone would want to work with YashRaj films. I have not had the opportunity but, I feel I have done well without them too.” She has done a lot of travelling these days especially to Miami for her forthcoming film Dostana. Priyanka will be a treat to watch in the movie (courtesy all the beach wear and if rumours are to be believed even a bikini), which also stars her two good pals Abhishek and John.

Priyanka hints, “You will have to watch the film to figure that out.” “There were loads of boys on the sets and the only thing we would do together after pack up is hit the gym.” Her strength will be put to the test in Drona, another big budget movie which stars good friend Abhishek. It’s rumoured to have a 90 crore budget with the major part of the finance spent on the action and special effects of the film. After Don, it will be very exciting to see her attempting action once again. The movie is said to be a superhero flick with Priyanka performing some daring stunts.
