And Priyanka Chopra knows all about it. The actress who was working on Love Story 2050 and Fashion has finally had to chop off her hair thanks to the wear and tear it endured.

Speaking at a press conference, the actress pointed to her much shorter mane and explained the need for this new look. “In Love Story I was told that I would have red hair… so I was like cool I’ll be wearing a wig. But then I was told ‘no wig you need to colour it red actually.’ But then I was also shooting for Fashion.’

“So after I finished one schedule here with red hair, I had to colour my hair black for Fashion. I wrapped up that schedule and came back to Love Story and had to colour it red again. All this happened within one month. Now anyone knows what this means for your hair when you subject it to so many chemicals!” says the actress with a wistful smile.

As a result the actress walked up to her stylist and got her hair chopped off. “It looks much healthier now. But the constant colouring had made her hair look quite lifeless. She used to have brilliant hair and so we decided the best thing to do was to chop it off so that new hair could grow,” says a friend of the actress.

So as the actress promotes Love Story 2050, she has been sporting a completely new look – a style that is not a part of her Fashion or Love Story look!
