It’s been a long time since we saw Priyanka Chopra on the big screen. But now, her fans better brace up for a deluge of her films.
The memory of the two box-office disasters called Salaam-e-Ishq and Big Brother in 2007 – both starring Priyanka – has already faded, but there has been yet no glimpse of Piggy Chopps on the silver screen this year. Her eager fans need wait just a bit more. For, the floodgates are set to open, and as many as three of Priyanka’s films are set to hit the theatres soon, one after the other.
The first one to release (on July 4) would be Love Story 2050 , which has a redheaded Priyanka in a futuristic romance with her present boyfriend Harman Baweja . Sounds quite interesting! Wait…there’s more.
The second one might be the long-in-the-making God Tussi Great Ho with Salman Khan which is expected to hit the theatres on July 11, a week after Love Story’s release.
And on the Friday after that (on July 18), her third film Chamku , with Bobby Deol , might make it to the marquee.
Three films back-to-back are sure to whet the appetite of her famished fans. And if they don’t, there’s more to come later this year.
Priyanka’s long-awaited film Drona , in which she gets to show her martial arts skill in some kick-ass action, is slated for an August release.
And if things move briskly, we might see her other two big films, Fashion and Dostana by the end of this year.
Well, six releases in a span of as many months!! We just hope it doesn’t end in a Priyanka overkill.
