The makers of Don – Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar have finalised Priyanka Chopra in a cameo role in Zoya Akhtar’s directorial debut Bombay Talkies. The film is said to be a remake of English film The Fan.
Sidhwani says, “We have signed Priyanka Chopra for an important role. The film has Hrithik Roshan in the lead and in a double role.
Kareena Kapoor plays the female lead. The subject is on the lines of The Fan but is far apart from the original.
The script is Indianised with commercial ingredients. The film is being made on a budget of Rs 150 million (Rs 15 crore) and we are preparing to commence the shooting.”
