And now, Priyanka Chopra has supposedly joined this group. Priyanka ‘forced’ director Madhur Bhandarkar to change Fashion’s climax, according to the buzz.

An insider says, “Madhur had approached Bipasha Basu and Kareena Kapoor for the role but things didn’t work out. He finally decided to sign Priyanka. However, he had to relook at the script from her perspective as she was not comfortable with the ending.”

So what changes did Priyanka demand? Our source reveals, “The original end of the film had Priyanka becoming pregnant.

The script had the actress playing a girl who has many men in her life and is unperturbed about her pregnancy. However, Priyanka found that idea too bold and told Madhur that it might go against her image.”

However, sources close to Madhur say there is no truth in this. “Already six drafts of the script have been changed by Madhur and he is yet to finalise the climax. So, the question of the climax being changed at this stage does not arise.” The source goes on to add that Madhur never goes by the big names but instead focuses on the story. “Even in Page 3, Kareena was replaced by Konkona and the film went on to become such a hit.”
