Remember how Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra were being compared when they debuted together in Andaaz ?
Well, now it’s the turn of two more debutante models to be compared – it’s Urvashi Sharma who will debut in the Abbas-Mustan film Naqaab and Deepika Padukone who is doing the Shah Rukh starrer Om Shanti Om .
Both women were being kept under wraps before their respective debut – it is only now that Deepika has been allowed to speak to the press, even while Urvashi is still producer Ramesh Taurani’s secret card.
“Urvashi’s character is integral to the central plot of the film, and by far we have kept her under wraps. We the audience to judge her performance unbiased,” he explains the secrecy.
With Taurani having a track record of having launched such stars as Preity Zinta, Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao, we will definitely be watching Urvashi’s career graph closely.
