Priyanka Chopra has two big back-to-back releases coming up, and the actress is particularly excited that both films will show her in contrasting roles.
“In Don 2, I play a betrayed woman, who becomes a police officer. She is set to avenge the humiliation and bring Don (Shah Rukh Khan) to justice,” she says, adding, “She had been in love with this man without realising he is actually the bad guy.”
In her other release, Agneepath, she plays a chirpy, middle class Maharashtrian woman.
“It is an extrovertish character, and since it is a film with a revenge theme, my character offers some relief from the anger,” Priyanka says. “It is a strong character. I play the daughter of a prostitute, who is determined not to follow her mother.”
